YETI 18 oz. Rambler Review

How to Have Fun Outdoors brings you its first review, and this week its all about the 18 oz. YETI Rambler. If you’ve heard of YETI, and you probably have, then you must know it’s an extremely popular brand for all things outdoors. What you may not know is that the company was founded by two brothers in 2006 who just wanted to build a cooler they’d use every day. Since then, the company has evolved and added more products to their brand, including bags, outdoor gear, pet gifts, and of course, drinkware, which includes the YETI Rambler.

Casey and I from How to Have Fun Outdoors reviewed the 18 oz. YETI Rambler on YouTube this past week. Rated 4.8/5 on their site, this YETI Rambler is designed with a double-wall vacuum that insulates your drink to ensure it stays either hot or cold until the last sip. It’s dishwasher safe for easy cleaning and comes standard with the Chug Cap. The Chug Cap is not intended for use with carbonated, perishable, or hot beverages, but is completely removable for when you want to drink a hot beverage.

What Casey enjoys about this cup is the fact that it eliminates single use plastic. It’s a great replacement for water bottles and is more durable, too, as it’s made with kitchen-grade 18/8 stainless steel (both puncture and rust resistant). It comes equipped with a top handle, making it easy to carry and even strap on to your backpack when on the go. The Chug Cap is also leak proof, ensuring no spills when you’re out having fun!

What’s even more interesting about the YETI rambler is that there’s no condensation on the cup because of the “no sweat design”. This means you can put your favorite stickers on the rambler and customize it however you like! To switch things up, you can buy different applications for the cap – YETI offers caps with straws and “magsliders”, as well as Rambler Tumbler handles that slide on the cup (available in lowball, 20oz., or 30oz.).
